I attended CPESS between the years of 1988 and 1994 and before that attended CPE I. I went to Oberlin College and returned to alternative schools to teach starting in 1998. After two years, I began graduate school. I have taught sociology courses at Hunter College, Teachers College and Morgan State University.

Currently, I live in Manhattan, in Washington Heights where I have lived, on and off for the past 25 years.
